Beacons of Civilization

The world is dangerous, civilization clings to the wilderness in fortified cities and settlements. These fortified cities are beacons of civilization, providing shelter, opportunity, and safety. Massive walls bristling with fortifications surround the settlements. Town militia patrols the walls fighting off threats from the outer world. Travel between these beacons is fraught with danger. Heroes are needed to thin out the areas around civilization from the darkness that assails civilization on all front.

Uncounted Horrors

The world is filled with things that will devour a person in the blink of an eye. Ancient monsters from forgotten times. Foul beasts made by otherworldly beings for their own ends. Abhorrent creatures, intelligent, ruthless, and so alien in thought that they see sentient species and resources. Strange supernatural beings that exist from other aspects and realms beyond unity. Predatory humanoids infest the world preying on the week inside and outside of the city fortresses. On the planet, Solaria people are not the dominant species.

Forgotten Civilizations

Many epochs and ages have come and gone on the planet littering it with ruins. Forgotten technology from bygone eras litters the lands waiting for someone to uncover its secrets. Ancient tombs lie uncovered, waiting for the next adventures to rediscover them and probe the secrets within. These relics and tombs come with there own dangers as old gods, forgotten plagues, and other things best left buried are unearthed with the treasures below.

A world of gods and men

Gods exist, magic is real, and there are hundreds of heavens had hells. In Tetrarch, the characters exist in a place where the pantheon gods are always in a constant struggle against usurping gods and god-like entities. Heroes are the first line of defense to find these false gods and slay them; lest they become too powerful and wipe life from the planet. It has happened before and can happen again.
