Humans

The oldest sentient species on the planet they have persevered through cataclysm, dark gods, upheaval, and near extinction. Humans cover the entire planet, forming empires and kingdoms. The overlords of the scarab empire are human. In the Scarab Empire, most of humanity lives along the mighty O' sep River, their cities doting its wetland shores.

To be a Human is to be the dominant species on the planet. Multiple eons of history litter the world of your ancestor's failures; this, however, does not detour your drive to build, explore, and destroy. In Theban, they have a saying, "by pen or by sword, it will be done."

The wonder lust of humans is insatiable; many humans become adventures across the empire for a plethora of reasons. The drive for money, power, and knowledge is a repeating theme in human adventures, carving out their own place in life.
