Bast

Children of the huntress, the bast are lions of the southern domain. Only the strong survive in the matriarchal society where feme fatals rule with iron fists. The bast have a highly ritualized society that rewards cunning, deceit, and stealth. Within their giant grown cities, death is around every corner, blesseded be the huntress.

To be a bast is to be an apex predator, curious, agile, always looking for the angle. A lifetime of survival next to the entropic jungle and serpent wastes has crafted a perfect hunter. Immortal, and destined to die by the hands of another, for only the strongest survive. Until then, grab a bottle of catnip rum, load the pistol, and find a good time.

Adventuring bast seek to indulge in their curiosity and become the strongest, most cunning, and deceitful creature to enter the southern domains. Wealth and power are their goals.
